Needlework

There is a limited number of Afghans each year due to the time it takes to create each one, each is a work of art and is marked with a sterling silver 5/16" x 1/8" oval tag engraved with "MC". They are made of silk or rayon thread either knitted or crocheted, each one is different and will drape just like the full size ones. Each afghan will be posted upon completion with photos and price, so it will be on a first come basis.

I was taught to braid rugs by my Grandmother, and my miniatures are crafted using the same process as a full size rug. My rugs will LAY FLAT in your room and stay flat. I just could not get a photo that would do justice to this afghan which is a beautiful deep clear peach color in a textured basket weave pattern. The alternate square has a flower in the pattern, with the whole afghan bordered in a knit on stocking-net stitch. Measuring 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 making it the perfect size for a bed cover. Hours to create: 320

This is a Lacey weave, pointed wave pattern, with a raised rounded dark green wave at regular intervals of 1/4" apart, with the total size being 4 3/8" x 3 1/2". In deep gold and dark green this is the perfect color for the den or study in your mini home. Hours to create: 212

Tahiti Sunrise is a happy afghan, that would look great draped over white wicker on a porch, with a sipper nearby. Knit of silk, in med. purple, ocean blue, and variegated pale spring green, pink with a hint of lavender. Measuring 4" x 6", not including tassels, which are either purple or ocean blue, surrounded by the variegation. Stunning. A vacation in an Afghan.

Caladium potted plant

Caladium is potted in a ceramic pot, 3/8" sq. Leaves are made of florist tape, hand cut and painted, realistic down to the red veins on the leaves. Total measurement is 1" diam x 1 3/8" tall.
